We are a new type of
preparedness plan for a hurricane.
There is no other way other than "human networking" to find others who need and want the same thing---a safe place to go away from a storm. Many families found themselves leaving their homes and possessions for the first time in their lives. Some people more than once. Those who could afford it and found availability went to hotels or stayed with family or friends in areas out of the "cone of uncertainty". Most did not.
- Hurricane Buddy® members will have access www.hurricanebuddy.com to compatible members you can communicate your evacuation plans with. You will be able to present your information to a wide audience of potential members who share your same characteristics.
- Matching households to households include: children, number of people, ages, pets, addictions, religion, ethnicity, locality and other factors selectively for instantaneous computer matching.
- Hurricane Buddy is a preparedness plan before a hurricane would threaten you and your home.
